Anjan Mukherjee is a distinguished figure in Indian journalism and social development, known for his relentless commitment to media freedom and public welfare. As the President of the Journalist Union of India, he actively works to safeguard press rights, advocate for journalists’ interests, and promote ethical reporting across the nation.

In addition to his contributions to journalism, Mukherjee plays a key role in community welfare as the President of the ICDS (Integrated Child Development Services) Jamuria Unit Project. His leadership in this initiative has helped improve the lives of countless children and mothers, ensuring better nutrition, education, and healthcare support in the region.

Achin Chakrabortoy

Achin Chakrabarty is a distinguished journalist, media entrepreneur, and advocate for press freedom. As the Owner of the newspaper “Banglar Chokh”, he has established a strong platform for fearless and independent journalism, ensuring that critical issues reach the public with integrity and accuracy.

Beyond his role as a media owner, Chakrabarty is a key figure in journalist advocacy. He serves as the General Secretary of the Journalist Union of India (JUI), where he works tirelessly to protect the rights of media professionals, uphold journalistic ethics, and strengthen the industry’s standards.

Expanding his influence on a global scale, he also holds the prestigious position of Chairman of the Apex International Journalist Council. Through this role, he fosters international collaboration among journalists, advocates for press freedom worldwide, and promotes ethical journalism on a broader platform.
