We the Journalists had a thought that we should do some work for our Journalists friends and their family. Our Founder Shri Achin Chakraborty along with 2 members visited some states of India where the Journalists were being assaulted and their families were being affected badly. Then formed the registered trade union, under the Trade Union Act, 1926.

As a journalist we have continuing facing problem with our media house management, unpaid salary, no promotion, and illegal Transfer to another states. My mother seriously ill, but management does not agreed to stay transfer then I written complain and appeal to solve that matter. Now management stagnant my transfar .

Social Security for Journalists: Ensuring a Secure Future

In India, while the Constitution recognizes the critical role of the media, there remains a significant gap in the protection and security offered to journalists. Often, journalists face severe financial, social, and personal challenges, with little to no backup from government schemes or insurance policies.

Our social security initiative aims to fill this void. We believe that journalists, like workers in other essential sectors, deserve a strong foundation of social protection, including health insurance, life insurance, and retirement benefits.
